Linda Robison featured in GB News article about women over 60 who look younger than their ageThis is the GB News article that mentioned me as one of the women over 60 who look younger than their age. I’m honored!

I’m a Facial Fitness Specialist and founder of Anti-Aging Beauty Zone, where I help women 40+ lift, firm, and glow naturally. Below, I’m sharing more about the massage, skincare, and daily habits that really work for me.

Why I believe facial exercises help

In the article I mentioned that I’ve been doing facial massage and exercises for years. I shared how strengthening the mid-face muscles — especially through the cheeks — has helped my face stay lifted and less hollow over time.

Even as we age, facial muscles can still respond to consistent use. For me, cheek exercises have been the most noticeable in maintaining natural volume and lift.

You don’t need a long routine or fancy equipment. A few targeted moves, done regularly, can make a real difference. It’s about muscle tone, not magic.

My skincare staples

As I mentioned in the articleI don’t overload my skin with products, and I try to stay consistent.
I test a lot of skincare products and gadgets—partly out of curiosity, partly for my website—but there are a few staples I always come back to:

I also exfoliate weekly with at-home sugar scrubs, and I use a mix of glycolic and lacticpeels a few times a month to keep my skin glowing and bright.

Exfoliationis especially important as we get older — it’s made a huge difference in how fresh my skin looks.

Eating for your skin

I believe food matters for skin health. I don’t eat a lot of sugar or junky carbs—not because I follow a strict plan, but because I just feel better without them.

Plus, I’ve never had much of a sweet tooth. Salt? That’s my weakness. 😉

Skipping sugary, processed foods also helps reduce glycation—a sneaky process where sugar stiffens collagen and leads to wrinkles over time.

I also eat a lot of fresh vegetables, lean meats, and plenty of garlic and onions. That’s something I picked up from my grandmother, who swore by them for wellness and skin support.

Garlic and onions are rich in sulfur compounds, which help the body detox and keep collagen healthy and springy.

Top foods for healthy glowing skin.

The power of facial massage

I also do a face massage almost daily. It’s been a major part of my routine. It’s not just relaxing, it’s effective too.

L’Oréal even did a study showing that regular facial massage can visibly reduce signs of aging, and I’ve seen those benefits firsthand.

Massaging upward helps circulation, relaxes the muscles, and supports skin elasticity over time.

Takeaway

Being featured in GB News was fun, but the truth is: there’s no one “secret.”

Looking lifted at 66 comes down to small, consistent habits. I take care of my skin from the inside out, stay active with facial movement, and give my skin what it needs — not too much, not too little.
